چکیده
Background: The objective of this study was to classify COVID-19 patients into severe and non-severe groups correlate lymphocyte monocyte ratio platelet with the severity patients. Methods: It a cross sectional observational conducted on hundred admitted Victoria hospital, Department Medicine, Bangalore Medical College Research Institute, between June 2020 August 2020. Complete clinical data were taken examined thoroughly cases diagnosed classified as per interim guidelines World Health Organization (WHO) diagnosis treatment by Ministry Family Welfare, Government India. compared correlated lymphocyte-monocyte platelet-lymphocyte ratio. A p<0.05 considered significant. All analyses performed using Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) software version 10.Results: sample size in our 100 patients. mean age 57.5 35 non COVID Among these 67% males 33% females. noted that, neutrophilia (median-88.5%) lymphocytopenia (median-6.5) seen among group. Also, (LMR) significantly low (p value-0.00*) (PLR) high statistically significant 19 patients. Conclusions: LMR, PLR different patients, so assessment may help identify risk at an early stage. In LMR showed acceptable efficiency separate group sensitivity 82.4% specificity 84.8%. Whereas 93.9% 64.7%.

Background: The present study aimed to compare the complete blood count (CBC) indices between COVID-19 patients and the control group, and assess the relationship of these indices with COVID-19 prognosis given the role of complete blood counts in the COVID-19 prognosis. Methods: COVID-19 patients (confirmed by PCR or CT-Scan) who visited Imam Hospital in Sari were selected in this case-control...
متن کاملNeutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio can predict the severity of gallstone pancreatitis
BACKGROUND Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) predict severity in various diseases. In this study, we evaluated the value of NLR and PLR as prognostic factors in acute pancreatitis (AP). METHODS Patients with AP were prospectively enrolled from March 2014 to September 2016 at Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine. NLR and PLR were obtained at adm...

The peripheral blood neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), lymphocyte to monocyte ratio (LMR), and platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) have been reported to correlate with the prognosis of many malignancies. This study evaluated the prognostic value of pretreatment NLR, LMR, and PLR in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). A retrospective analysis of clinical and pathological data of 140 NPC patients ...

Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a life-threatening acute complication of diabetes mellitus and the novel systemic inflammation marker platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) may be associated with clinical outcome in patients with DKA. This study aimed to investigate the utility of PLR in predicting 90-day clinical outcomes in patients with DKA. Patient data exacted from the Multiparameter Intelligen...
